  • How much notice do I give to enter for repairs?

    At least 24 hours' notice before you or your contractor enter to do necessary repairs or maintenance, and entry between 8am and 7pm.

    In an emergency, such as flooding or a fire, you can enter without notice.

  • Can I fix things I notice during an inspection?

    An inspection is a visit to check the property. Repairs you spot are a separate visit, which needs its own 24 hours' notice. Raise them as a job here straight from the inspection's findings.

  • What about showing buyers or new tenants through?

    Tenancy Services says you must ask the tenant's permission for that. It is not something notice alone allows.
